Kia has announced the details of its first three-row seat electric flagship SUV, the Kia EV9. It is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and is targeted towards being a sustainable mobility solution. The EV9 is designed to provide an athletic performance and has a targeted range of over 541 km according to the World harmonized Light vehicle Testing Procedure (WLTP) and can be recharged to power the vehicle for 239 km in approximately 15 minutes through its ultra-fast 800-volt charging capability.
Design
The Kia EV9 is designed with natural and modern elements. It has a wheelbase of 3,100mm, an overall length of 5,010mm, and a bold and contemporary appearance while maintaining its unique character. The front features a 'Digital Tiger Face' that showcases its unique identity, and it is accentuated by the 'Digital Pattern Lighting Grille' and vertical headlamps.
