Subaru Australia Reports Impressive February Sales, Driven by Popular Forester and Outback Models

Subaru Australia has reported impressive sales figures for February, with a total of 4,054 units sold. This represents a 28.7% increase for the month and a 30.3% increase year-to-date. Subaru's total market share for February was 4.7%.

The strong sales performance in February was driven by the Subaru Forester, which sold 1,709 units, up 35.9% for the month and 12.5% year-to-date. The Subaru Outback also performed well, with 1,233 units sold, up an impressive 147.6% for the month and 173.3% year-to-date. This made the Outback the number one selling vehicle in the large SUV <$70K category for the month of February.

The WRX also had a strong showing in February, with 323 units sold. This made it the best-selling small >$40k passenger vehicle for the month. The BRZ also continued to perform well, with 145 units sold in February and 261 units sold year-to-date. It currently holds the position of the best-selling Sports Coupe <$80K year-to-date.

Australian's love the Outback (both the car and land) and it continues to be a standout performer for customers, especially following the introduction of the highly anticipated and requested turbocharged XT variants. Also, WRX and BRZ continue to be a firm favourite amongst performance car enthusiasts.
