2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz Range: Australian Price & Specs

Volkswagen has released the pricing and detailed specifications for its ID. Buzz range, which will be available in Australia before Christmas 2024. The lineup includes several variants, all priced below Australia's Luxury Car Tax (LCT) threshold, aimed at both private buyers and fleet operators. The ID. Buzz range is Volkswagen's electric reinterpretation of the classic Kombi.

Volkswagen ID. Buzz Pricing and Model Range (MY25)

The ID. Buzz range begins with the ID. Buzz Cargo, a short-wheelbase, three-seater van priced at $79,990. This variant is configured for commercial use, providing cargo space and practical features for fleet managers.

The ID. Buzz Pro is available in both short and long wheelbase configurations. The short wheelbase (SWB) ID. Buzz Pro is priced at $87,990 and seats five passengers, while the long wheelbase (LWB) variant, offering seven seats, starts at $91,290.

The ID. Buzz GTX, a long-wheelbase, seven-seat model with all-wheel drive and enhanced performance features, is priced at $109,990. Production for this variant is scheduled to begin later in 2024, with deliveries expected in early 2025.

ID. Buzz Cargo (Short Wheelbase, 3-seater)

The ID. Buzz Cargo is designed for commercial use, offering a practical and functional configuration. It is powered by a BEV550 rear-wheel-drive system with a 1-speed automatic transmission and has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 3,150 kg. The exterior features body-colored bumpers, high-gloss black exterior mirror housings, and power-latching sliding doors on both sides. Inside, the ID. Buzz Cargo is equipped with a leatherette-wrapped multifunction steering wheel with touch controls.
