Chery has introduced a revised lineup for the Tiggo 7 Pro, replacing the previous Urban, Elite, and Ultimate AWD variants with two new trims: SE and SE+. With this update, all-wheel drive (AWD) is no longer available, and the new range is exclusively front-wheel drive (FWD). The updated models are now available in dealerships, with prices starting from $29,990 driveaway, representing a $10,000 reduction compared to the previous base model. The top-spec SE+ at $33,990 driveaway is priced $12,000 lower than the discontinued Ultimate AWD variant.
The SE variant aligns more with the previous Urban variant, while the SE+ aligns more with the Elite variant. Ultimate features - such as ventilated front seats and AWD - have been removed from the lineup.
The Tiggo 7 Pro SE includes dual 12.3-inch instrument and infotainment screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Hello Chery voice command, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a full-size spare wheel. Safety features include 16 advanced driver assistance systems and offline satellite navigation.
The SE+ variant, priced at $33,990 driveaway, adds a 360-degree surround-view camera, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, heated front seats, and an air quality management system.
Both models are powered by a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 137kW and 275Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Fuel consumption is rated at 7.0L/100km on the combined cycle.
Chery Australia CEO Lewis Lu stated: “The Tiggo 7 Special Edition sets a new standard for value, combining cutting-edge features, advanced technology, and class-leading safety—all at an irresistible driveaway price.”
The Tiggo 7 Pro continues to be covered by Chery’s 7-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, 7-year capped-price servicing, and up to 7 years of roadside assistance.
