Subaru Australia Announces STI Tuned BRZ tS Variant for 2024

Subaru Australia has expanded its Subaru BRZ range with the addition of the tS variant set to release in 2024. This announcement was made at the SubiNats owners' festival, an annual gathering for Subaru enthusiasts in Australia. Those in attendance had the opportunity to view a prototype of this new model.

The BRZ tS, abbreviated for 'tuned by STI', is a performance-focused variant. The 2024 Subaru BRZ tS will come with several distinct features:

  • STI Tuned Suspension.
  • Front and Rear Brembo Brakes.
  • 18-inch Dark Grey Metallic Alloy Wheels.
  • Front and Rear tS badges.
  • A Red BRZ Logo integrated into the Front Headlights.
  • Crystal Black Door Mirrors and a Shark Fin Antenna.
  • Bordeaux and Black Ultrasuede® and Leather Accented Interior with STI Embossed Front Seats.
  • An STI Red Push Start Button.
  • An Instrument Cluster with STI Logo and Bordeaux Highlights.

The new variant retains the lightweight, rear-wheel drive platform characteristic of the BRZ series, paired with a precision-tuned suspension and quick-ratio steering.

Subaru has also indicated that the EyeSight® safety technology will be available in manual transmission BRZ models starting in 2024.

Blair Read, Managing Director at Subaru Australia, mentioned the enhanced handling, performance, and design of the new tS variant and acknowledged the meticulous engineering work behind the model.

Further details on the availability and pricing of the 2024 Subaru BRZ tS are expected to be released by Subaru in the coming period. Interested parties can register for more information on Subaru Australia's official website.
