GWM Australia has confirmed pricing and specifications for the all-new 2026 GWM Cannon Hi4-T PHEV, with the plug-in hybrid dual-cab ute starting from $47,990 driveaway for eligible ABN buyers under a limited-time launch offer.

That headline price applies to the Cannon Hi4-T Lux with a $2,000 driveaway bonus, reducing its standard ABN driveaway price from $49,990.

Private buyers can access the same $2,000 driveaway bonus, taking the Cannon Hi4-T Lux from $50,990 driveaway to $48,990 driveaway.

The offer runs until 31 October 2026 for eligible vehicles purchased and delivered by that date, unless extended or withdrawn earlier.

Customers can instead choose the standard driveaway price and receive a $2,000 fuel card, but the fuel card and driveaway bonus cannot be combined.

Two grades will be offered at launch, Lux and Ultra, with the Ultra priced from $53,990 driveaway for ABN buyers before the launch bonus and $54,990 driveaway for private buyers before the launch bonus.

The Cannon Hi4-T PHEV is expected to arrive at GWM dealerships across Australia from mid-October 2026, with customer pre-orders now open.

It follows GWM's earlier confirmation of the Cannon Hi4-T PHEV for Australia and joins the larger Cannon Alpha Hi4-T PHEV in the brand's local plug-in hybrid ute range.

GWM has also recently priced its 3.0-litre turbo-diesel Cannon Alpha, giving the brand diesel and plug-in hybrid options across its body-on-frame ute line-up.

The Cannon Hi4-T uses a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and electric motor with GWM's Hi4-T plug-in hybrid system.

Combined outputs are listed at 310kW and 750Nm, with drive sent through a nine-speed hybrid automatic transmission.

The ute retains mechanical four-wheel-drive hardware, including a low-range transfer case, an electronic rear differential lock and drive modes for Snow, Mud, Sand, 4H and 4L.

A 33.1kWh battery provides up to 115km of electric-only driving range on the NEDC cycle.

GWM lists combined fuel consumption at 2.4L/100km under ADR81/02 testing, with a claimed total driving range of up to 1037km on a full tank and charge.

The Cannon Hi4-T supports DC fast charging at up to 110kW, with a claimed 30 to 80 per cent charge time of 18 minutes.

Towing capacity is listed at 3500kg braked and 750kg unbraked, with a 350kg maximum downball weight.

Both grades have a 6400kg gross combined mass, 3420kg gross vehicle mass and 835kg payload.

Vehicle-to-load functionality is also included, with 230V outlets in the tub and up to 6kW of discharge power.
