The CX-30 gains two new model grades for 2026: G25 Evolve SP and G25 GT.
The CX-30 G25 Evolve SP builds on the Evolve grade with black cloth seats, red stitching for the seats, armrest, centre console and dashboard, plus gloss-black exterior elements for the 18-inch alloy wheels, exterior mirrors, roof rails and badges.
The CX-30 G25 GT adds a glass sunroof, black leather interior, heated front seats, a 10-way powered driver’s seat with position memory, 18-inch silver alloy wheels, silver roof rails, body-coloured mirrors and silver badging.
Both new CX-30 grades are paired exclusively with the G25 Skyactiv-G powertrain and include advanced keyless entry.
Vision Technology is now complimentary on all G25-powered CX-30 models and includes a 360-degree View Monitor with See-Through View, Cruising and Traffic Support, Driver Monitoring, front parking sensors, Front Cross Traffic Alert and Front Cross Traffic Brake.
Front Cross Traffic Brake is new for the 2026 CX-30.
Vision Technology remains standard on the Mazda3 from G20 Touring grades.
The CX-30 G25 GT SP adds White Maztex seats with grey synthetic suede inserts, along with gloss-black exterior highlights including roof rails, exterior mirrors, signature grille and front and rear badging.
Ventilated seats are also added to the CX-30 GT SP and Astina grades for 2026.
Safety updates for both models include Smart Brake Support that now detects motorcycles, turn-across traffic and head-on collisions, while intersection collision avoidance assist is also included.
The CX-30 colour range adds Zinc Green Metallic premium paint, while Aero Grey Metallic joins the available palette for both the CX-30 and Mazda3.
Ceramic Metallic and Zircon Sand Metallic have been discontinued.
Director of Sales and Marketing at Mazda Australia, Jarrod Gieschen, said: “The Mazda3 and CX-30 continue to be important models within our line-up, offering our customers a compelling combination of award-winning design and engaging driving dynamics - and with the latest updates, we’re adding even more value into the equation.”
The Mazda3 continues to compete in the small-car segment against models including the 2026 Toyota Corolla Hatch, while the Mazda CX-30 sits against compact SUVs such as the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross.
Both Toyota models are sold new in Australia and offered with hybrid powertrains.
The updates arrive as Australia’s new-car market continues to shift, with CarSauce tracking recent buyer trends through monthly VFACTS sales coverage.
