Subaru Australia has opened pre-orders for the 2026 Uncharted electric SUV, with 252kW AWD, up to 522km WLTP range and $59,990 list pricing.
Subaru Australia has opened pre-orders for the 2026 Subaru Uncharted, confirming local pricing and specifications for its new all-electric small SUV.
The Uncharted will arrive in Australia in mid-2026 in a single AWD grade priced from $59,990 before on-road costs.
It becomes part of Subaru Australia’s expanding electric vehicle range alongside the updated Solterra and the new Trailseeker.
The Australian-specification Uncharted uses a dual-motor electric powertrain producing a combined 252kW.
Subaru says the system works with its Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive layout and can accelerate the vehicle from 0 to 100km/h in approximately five seconds under controlled conditions.
Energy is supplied by a 74.7kWh CATL lithium-ion battery.
Subaru lists a preliminary WLTP driving range of up to 522km, though the final certified figure for Australian-specification vehicles may differ.
Charging capability is listed at up to 150kW on DC fast charging, with a claimed 10 to 80 per cent charging time of around 30 minutes.
The Uncharted also supports 22kW AC charging on a three-phase connection.
Subaru says the Uncharted has 211mm of ground clearance at kerb weight.
Off-road-related systems include Dual-mode X-Mode with Grip Control, Downhill Assist Control and a Multi-Terrain Monitor.
Standard equipment includes a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7-inch LCD multi-information display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in-built satellite navigation and dual wireless phone chargers.
Other listed features include synthetic leather seat trim, heated front and rear outboard seats, reclining rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a digital rear-view mirror and multi-colour ambient lighting.
Driver assistance equipment includes Subaru Safety Sense, Vision Assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist and a driver monitoring system.
A vehicle-to-load 220V/1500W power outlet, powered tailgate and 20-inch alloy wheels are also standard on the Australian-market grade.
Two options will be available at extra cost: a panoramic roof, or a panoramic roof with two-tone paint.
Scott Lawrence, General Manager, Subaru Australia, said:
“It carries the ground clearance of an SUV but the soul of a performance car.
That’s the result of taking the best of Subaru engineering and pouring it into one exceptionally well-crafted Sport Electric Vehicle.”
Pre-orders are open through authorised Subaru retailers and Subaru Australia’s website.
