Chery Australia has launched a nationwide competition to select the official name for its upcoming plug-in hybrid diesel utility vehicle.
The automotive manufacturer is inviting the Australian public to submit name suggestions through its official website.

The winning participant will receive the first Chery ute delivered in Australia as a prize.
The new model is scheduled to arrive in the Australian market late in 2026.
According to the manufacturer, the vehicle will be the first in the world to feature a plug-in hybrid diesel powertrain.
The ute is designed with a 1,000kg payload and a 3.5-tonne towing capacity.
The naming process involves a submission phase where participants must provide a name and a brief explanation for their choice.
Chery will review the entries to create a shortlist for a subsequent public vote.
The final name will be selected following this community polling stage.
