The model has been confirmed for Korea, Canada and Australia, with Korea sales due to begin in late October 2026 and further global market expansion planned.

Pricing and more Australian details will be announced closer to launch.

The i30 Sedan N MONOCHROME uses a restrained visual treatment built around body-colour details, darker accents and material changes rather than the more overt contrast elements often associated with performance editions.

CarSauce previously covered Hyundai's update to the i30 Sedan N, with the MONOCHROME now adding a more focused design package to the performance sedan.

Exterior changes include newly designed forged wheels, revised details for the front and rear bumpers, side sills, brake callipers and rear diffuser, plus carbon-fibre mirror caps and a carbon-fibre rear spoiler.

The interior gains a MONOCHROME-only Alcantara steering wheel with black-finished buttons, along with Alcantara applied to selected cabin components.

Two body colours will be offered: Abyss Black Pearl and Performance Blue.

"The i30 Sedan N MONOCHROME captures the essence of Hyundai N’s motorsport history and commitment to high-performance culture in a restrained package," said Joon Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group, Hyundai Motor Company.

"Having listened to customers’ voices for a toned-down high-performance model, we restrained visual emphases and focused on form, texture and material to create a monochromatic rendition of the i30 Sedan N that is understated, yet undeniably N."

The MONOCHROME edition centres on three design ideas: self-restraint and maturity, capturing memorable moments in the i30 Sedan N’s development and performance history, and focusing on the core driving character of Hyundai N.

Hyundai describes the treatment as a way to draw attention away from colour and toward the vehicle’s form, proportions, texture and performance-oriented details.

For Australia, the limited run gives the i30 Sedan N range a more understated special edition without moving away from the existing sedan body style or the choice of manual and DCT transmissions.
