Scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2024, the BMW M4 CS introduces a series of enhancements over its predecessors, emphasising advanced materials and performance improvements.

This model utilises carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) extensively throughout its structure, resulting in a weight reduction of 20kg compared to the BMW M4 Competition Coupé with M xDrive.

The powertrain of the M4 CS features an upgraded M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line engine, now producing 405kW—up from 390kW in previous models.

This increase facilitates a quicker acceleration, allowing the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

The engine's design incorporates robust features suitable for high-demand performance, reflecting BMW's long-standing experience in motorsport engineering.

In addition to mechanical enhancements, the M4 CS sports adaptive LED headlights with a unique yellow light signature inspired by GT racecars and specific rear lights that use Laserlight technology with fibre optic bundles for a distinctive appearance.

The car's chassis has been specifically tuned to complement the power increase and lightweight design, aiming to provide precise handling and responsiveness on both road and racetrack environments.

The interior and exterior design of the BMW M4 CS feature exclusive elements that distinguish it from standard models.

These include new BMW Individual paint options and extensive use of exposed carbon fibre on the exterior.

Inside, the BMW Curved Display integrates M-specific functionalities, enhancing the interface between the driver and the vehicle's sophisticated systems.

BMW has announced that only 50 units of the M4 CS will be available for the Australian market, emphasising the exclusivity and limited availability of this high-performance model.

The car is priced at $254,900, positioning it as a premium offering in the competitive sports car segment.
