Chery has announced an MY26 update for its Tiggo 4 small SUV, available from mid-April 2025. This update follows the model's strong sales performance, with over 5,200 units sold in Australia within six months.
Pricing for the Tiggo 4 remains very competitive, starting at $23,990 drive-away for the entry-level Urban variant and reaching $26,990 drive-away for the Ultimate model. Both variants are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 108kW and 210Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Fuel efficiency is officially rated at 7.4L/100km, with CO2 emissions of 168g/km.

A hybrid variant of the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro will be coming later in the year, and likely with a price increase to match.
Key highlights of the MY26 update include redesigned alloy wheels measuring 17 inches for the Urban variant and 18 inches for the Ultimate. Additionally, the rear end now features LED taillights connected by a distinctive LED light bar, aligning with Chery's current design language.

Changes for the MY26 Chery Tiggo 4 update include:
- Newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels (Urban variant)
- Newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels (Ultimate variant)
- LED taillights with connecting LED light bar
- 15W wireless phone charger (Ultimate variant)
Chery continues to offer a seven-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, seven years of capped-price servicing, and up to seven years of roadside assistance.

This update arrives as Chery experiences substantial growth in Australia, achieving a 216% year-on-year sales increase. The company plans further expansions with new model introductions, increased investment in energy-efficient technologies, and an expanded dealership network.
