2025 Mahindra XUV700 Price and Specs

The 2025 Mahindra XUV700 has been released, bringing some minor upgrades to the seven-seater SUV – along with a higher price.

Mahindra has increased the price of the XUV700 range by $3000, with the AX7 base model now on sale from $39,990 drive-away.

The other variant available, the XUV700 AX7L, is now $42,990 drive-away.

The price bump means the Mahindra is no longer the most affordable seven-seater SUV in Australia, handing the title to the LDV D90 – which is currently priced in run-out from $34,990 drive-away for ABN holders.

For the 2025 model year, the XUV700 adopts the black faux-leather interior originally found on the Black Edition launched in late 2024, replacing the cream-white upholstery originally offered.

The seven-seater comes standard with dual 10.25-inch screens – one serving the digital instrument cluster, the other for infotainment – wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear-view camera, panoramic sunroof, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, and keyless entry and start.

Step up to the AX7L though, and buyers now get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats with memory, and wing mirrors with memory – linked to the driver’s seat memory.

These, in addition to a 12-speaker audio system, wireless smartphone charger, 360-degree cameras, and a leather steering wheel and shift knob.

Under the bonnet, the XUV700 is powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making 149kW and 380Nm, driving the front wheels through an Aisin-sourced six-speed automatic transmission.

It’s expected fuel consumption will remain unchanged at a claimed 8.3 litres per 100 kilometres.

Also unchanged is the exterior, with LED headlights, LED daytime-running lights, LED fog-lights, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Mahindra offers the XUV700 in white at no extra cost, with metallic silver, red, and black costing an additional $495.
