At the Beijing Auto Show, Chery presented the TIGGO 9 PHEV, a vehicle that incorporates a plug-in hybrid system into the brand's SUV lineup.
The exterior of the SUV features an octagonal grille design and comes with 20-inch wheels.
The interior of the TIGGO 9 PHEV is designed with a 15.6-inch 2.5K HD screen and a multifunctional console.
Seats with 3D stitched design are also part of the interior features, intended for comfort and visual appeal.
Under the hood, the TIGGO 9 PHEV is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission, offering 175kW and 385Nm of torque.
An additional 3DHT electric motor brings the maximum power output to 165kW.
Chery reports that the TIGGO 9 PHEV achieves 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers fuel consumption under WLTC conditions.
With the hybrid system, the vehicle can cover a range of over 1400 kilometers, according to WLTC measurements.
The TIGGO SUV range, first launched in 2005, now includes several models, with the TIGGO 9 PHEV being the latest addition.
The range also includes the TIGGO 8 Pro Max, TIGGO 7 Pro, and Omoda 5.
