Honda to Launch All-New Medium SUV, Honda ZR-V, in 2023

Honda Australia has announced the upcoming launch of its all-new medium SUV, the Honda ZR-V, in 2023. The latest addition to Honda's SUV line-up will provide Australians with more options when choosing an SUV to fit their lifestyle. The Honda ZR-V will sit between the Honda HR-V and the Honda CR-V and will come in four variants: VTi X, VTi L, VTi LX, and e:HEV LX.

The e:HEV LX model features a full hybrid technology powertrain, which is a first for Honda in Australia. The 1.5-litre VTEC turbocharged engine in petrol variants and the combined 2.0-litre direct injection engine with 2-motor hybrid system in the e:HEV LX delivers both fuel efficiency and dynamic performance, suitable for city and suburban roads, highways, and winding roads.

Honda ZR-V Interior

The Honda ZR-V has been designed with a sleek and contemporary aesthetic, offering a lower driving position and increased visibility without compromising on the storage space in the boot. The high level of standard equipment includes features such as Honda SENSING suite of technologies, LED headlights with Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB), front and rear parking sensors, and a 9-inch infotainment display with Android Auto™ and wireless Apple CarPlay®.

Carolyn McMahon, Director of Honda Australia, expressed excitement over the launch of the new SUV model, saying: "As the first new Honda SUV model launched since 1999, we are thrilled to offer Australians a medium-size SUV with sporty drivability, in-car smart connectivity, and elevated contemporary design features."

Honda ZR-V Rear

The Honda ZR-V is set to arrive in the Australian market in mid-2023, with full specifications and pricing to be announced in the coming months.
