Mercedes-Benz has announced a limited run of Night Edition variants for both the EQA 250+ and EQB 250+, offering sportier styling and extra value for the electric SUVs.
While Mercedes-Benz has increased prices for both the EQA and EQB by $900, those who choose the Night Edition package won’t pay anything more than the standard price – $85,800 before on-road costs for the EQA 250+, and $90,000 before on-road costs for the EQB 250+.
Both vehicles are powered by a single electric motor sending 140kW and 385Nm to the front wheels, fed from a 70.5kWh battery – allowing up to 578 kilometres of driving range on a single charge in the EQA 250+, and 564km in the EQB 250+.
The Night Edition package adds high-gloss black styling elements across the exterior, including in the front and rear bumpers, on the mirror housings, the window trims, and the roof rails.
Buyers also gain aerodynamic 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels in high-gloss black with polished rims, riding under adjustable suspension.
While Night Edition models are limited, the EQA 250+ Night Edition in Cosmos Black metallic paint will be available exclusively online for one month.
For those requiring additional space, the EQB offers 495 litres of boot storage (compared to 340L in the EQA) – as well as a third row of seating, which can be stowed in the floor.

Inside, both the EQA and EQB offer a panoramic sliding sunroof, a Nappa leather steering wheel, Artico leather and Microcut microfibre upholstery on the electric sports seats – which also feature memory, heating, and Seat Comfort Package as standard. Drivers can also load their preferred saved settings via a fingerprint scanner.
A double-wide screen incorporates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital radio, 360-degree cameras, and a 10-speaker Advanced South System with subwoofer.
Also standard is wireless smartphone charging, ambient lighting, tinted windows, and keyless start.
Both models come with nine airbags, semi-autonomous parking, radar cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot assist, active brake assist, traffic sign recognition, and safe exit warning.
Mercedes-Benz says it has kept the prices of both the EQA and EQB below the Luxury Car Tax threshold for fuel-efficient vehicles, keeping them exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax.
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+ Night Edition is priced from $85,800 before on-road costs, while the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+ Night Edition is available from $90,000 before on-road costs.
The Night Edition models are available in limited numbers, with orders open from 23 January 2025.
