MG Motors Australia Unveils New Electric Vehicle Details and Pricing for MG4 and ZS EV Long Range

MG Motors Australia has unveiled its expanded electric vehicle (EV) range at FullyCharged Sydney, the country's largest EV event. The MG4 and ZS EV Long Range are on public display for the first time on Australian shores at the International Convention Centre Sydney. MG has fast-tracked these two models into the Australian market due to customer feedback and the demand for its current EV offerings. The ZS EV Long Range, with a larger 72kw battery pack, is set to land in April and will be available for purchase, while the MG4 will be officially launched in the second half of the year. The pricing for the ZS EV Long Range has also been revealed, retailing at $55,990 AU and $64,990 NZ MSRP.

The MG ZS EV, which has already proven popular in Australia, has been praised for its extended range capability. With a larger battery pack providing up to 440 km of driving distance, it is one of the longest-range EVs currently available on the market. The MG4 EV hatchback boasts a new modular scalable platform with a new pure electric architecture that delivers a superior driving experience. The MG4 has been praised and awarded accolades including Which Car UK's 'Best Small EV' for 2023, where it was congratulated for its excellent levels of space, standard equipment, and driver engagement.

Both the MG4 and ZS EV Long Range are equipped with a suite of cutting-edge safety features, advanced battery technology that can charge up to 80% between 40-63 minutes using a fast charger, market-leading 7-year warranty, and a sleek and modern design with a spacious interior and user-friendly infotainment system. The two models offer an impressive combination of range, features, and value that makes it a compelling choice for drivers looking to switch to electric.

Peter Ciao, CEO at MG Motor Australia & New Zealand, said that the EV models on display at FullyCharged Live set a new standard for electric vehicles in Australia and New Zealand and demonstrates MG's commitment to making EVs accessible for everyone. The event is expected to attract thousands of EV and automotive enthusiasts, industry experts, and policymakers from around Australia and the world, making it the perfect platform for MG Motors Australia to showcase its newest EV offerings.
