The 2026 Kia Seltos has arrived in Australian dealerships with an exclusively hybrid range, priced from $37,990 before on-road costs or $39,990 drive-away.

Four equipment grades are available: S, Sport, Sport+ and GT-Line.
The S also offers a Safety Pack, while the GT-Line is available with front-wheel drive or a new electric all-wheel-drive system.

Following the earlier Australian Seltos pricing announcement, Kia has detailed the new generation's equipment, fuel consumption and dimensions.

The Seltos competes in the small SUV market alongside the Hyundai Kona, Toyota Corolla Cross and Mazda CX-30.

Every variant pairs a 1.6-litre petrol-electric hybrid powertrain with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Front-wheel-drive versions produce combined outputs of 112kW and 265Nm.

The GT-Line AWD adds an independently operated rear electric motor rather than a mechanical driveshaft connecting the axles, lifting combined power to 126kW.
It is the first application of this e-AWD arrangement in Kia Australia's hybrid range.

Claimed combined fuel consumption under the ADR 81/03 WLTP standard ranges from 5.1L/100km for the S to 5.8L/100km for the GT-Line AWD.
Sport and Sport+ models claim 5.3L/100km, while the front-wheel-drive GT-Line claims 5.4L/100km.

Built on Kia's K3 platform, the new Seltos measures 4430mm long, 1830mm wide and 1600mm tall, with a 2690mm wheelbase.
Compared with its predecessor, it is 45mm longer, 30mm wider and 30mm lower, while the wheelbase has grown by 60mm.

Rear legroom increases by 25mm, and versions without the panoramic sunroof gain 12mm of front headroom and 14mm in the rear.
Boot capacity with a space-saver spare rises by 15 litres to 483 litres, expanding to 1441 litres with the rear seats folded.

The cabin gains a column-mounted transmission selector, while standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 5.0-inch climate display and 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen.
Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control and rear USB-C ports are fitted across the range.

Kia Connect is also standard, providing remote functions including climate-control presets, with over-the-air updates available.
The second-row seats recline by up to 24 degrees and feature a 60:40 split-folding layout.

Safety equipment includes autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot collision avoidance, a front centre airbag and an in-cabin camera that monitors front passenger seating positions.
Surround-view and blind-spot cameras, plus remote parking assistance, are included from the S with Safety Pack upwards.

Highway Driving Assist 2 is fitted to Sport, Sport+ and GT-Line models.
An ANCAP safety rating is pending as the new Seltos completes its independent crash-testing assessment.

The new generation has also undergone Australian suspension and steering calibration under Kia Australia's Chief Ride and Handling Engineer, Graeme Gambold.

At the top of the range, the GT-Line adds a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, ventilated front seats, an eight-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system and a powered tailgate.
It costs $52,990 drive-away with front-wheel drive, or $55,490 drive-away with e-AWD.

The following MRRP prices exclude on-road costs, while drive-away prices include on-road costs.
All variants use a 1.6-litre hybrid powertrain and six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Clear White paint is standard.
Snow White Pearl, Steel Grey, Interstellar Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Denim Blue and Tan Beige each cost an additional $600.

Fuel consumption figures below are claimed combined results under the ADR 81/03 WLTP standard.
