2026 Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV price and specs: 900km range-extender SUV from $37,888
The 2026 Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV has been priced for Australia, with two grades, 84km of WLTP EV range and up to 900km combined range.
The 2026 Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV has been confirmed for Australia, adding a range-extender hybrid option to the compact SUV line-up.
Pricing starts from $37,888 MSRP for the entry Style and $40,888 MSRP for the higher-spec Design, with both prices excluding on-road costs and dealer delivery.
The new variant follows the fully electric B10, with CarSauce previously covering the Australian pricing and specifications for that battery-electric model.
Unlike a conventional parallel hybrid, the B10 Hybrid EV uses an electric-first range-extender system.
Its electric motor drives the rear wheels at all times, while a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine acts only as a generator to recharge the battery when required.
The system produces 160kW and 240Nm, with Leapmotor claiming a 0-100km/h time of 7.5 seconds and a 170km/h top speed.
An 18.8kWh LFP battery provides up to 84km of electric-only range on the WLTP cycle.
With a 50-litre fuel tank, the total claimed driving range is up to 900km on the WLTP cycle.
Claimed combined fuel consumption is 0.9L/100km on the WLTP test cycle.
Charging capability is listed at 6.6kW AC and up to 46kW DC, with a claimed 30 to 80 per cent DC charge time of about 20 minutes.
Four selectable energy modes are fitted: EV+, EV, Fuel and Power+.
The B10 Hybrid EV measures 4515mm long, 1885mm wide and 1665mm tall, with a 2735mm wheelbase.
Standard equipment includes an 8.8-inch digital driver display, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic glass roof, a 360-degree camera and an integrated 360-degree dashcam.
The Design grade adds items including TechnoLeather seat trim, power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 12-speaker surround audio system, a power tailgate and Hankook iON evo tyres.
The B10 Hybrid EV arrives in a small SUV segment that includes conventional hybrid rivals such as the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid and 2026 Hyundai Kona Hybrid.
The 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid starts from $37,440 before on-road costs, while the 2026 Hyundai Kona Hybrid starts from $36,700 before on-road costs.
Those models use different hybrid systems, so their prices are not directly like-for-like with the Leapmotor's range-extender layout.
| Model | Entry hybrid price | Price basis |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV Style | $37,888 | MSRP, excluding on-road costs and dealer delivery |
| 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid GX FWD | $37,440 | Before on-road costs |
| 2026 Hyundai Kona Hybrid | $36,700 | Before on-road costs |
The first 500 B10 Hybrid EV orders placed between 1 June and 30 September 2026, and delivered before 31 December 2026, include a launch gift pack.
That pack includes three years of complimentary capped-price servicing, premium paint, a 7kW AC wallbox charger excluding installation, and a vehicle-to-load cable with carry case.
Premium paint is otherwise available from $990.
Exterior colours listed for Australia are Light White, Galaxy Silver, Terra Grey, Starry Night Blue, Dawn Purple and Metallic Black.
The Style is offered with grey fabric trim, while the Design is listed with Light Grey or Shadow Grey TechnoLeather trim.
Leapmotor Care coverage includes an eight-year/160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, a six-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, eight years of capped-price servicing and eight years of roadside assist.
Service intervals are listed at every 12 months or 20,000km, whichever comes first.
