The Mercedes-Benz C 400 4MATIC electric will be priced at $105,700 MRLP in Australia, excluding on-road costs and dealer delivery.

It will go on sale from Australian dealerships on 20 October 2026, with showroom arrivals expected in early 2027.

Its dual-motor electric drivetrain delivers up to 360kW and 800Nm, with 4MATIC all-wheel drive distributing power between the front and rear axles.

Mercedes-Benz lists a 0-100 km/h time of 4.0 seconds.

A 94kWh usable lithium-ion battery provides a WLTP-tested driving range of up to 753km, depending on specification.

The C 400 4MATIC electric also uses an 800-volt electrical architecture, supporting DC fast charging at up to 330kW.

Under ideal conditions, up to 325km of WLTP-tested range can be added in approximately 10 minutes when connected to a compatible high-power DC charger.

The drivetrain includes a two-speed transmission on the rear axle, with first gear used for acceleration and low-speed efficiency and second gear supporting higher-speed driving.

Energy consumption is listed at 16.1kWh/100km.

Standard exterior equipment includes AMG Line styling, the Night Package, dark-tinted glass, metallic paint and 20-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels.

The front end features an illuminated Mercedes-Benz grille with 1050 illuminated dots, a central star and lighting animations for locking, unlocking and charging.

DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps use micro-LED technology and provide an illumination field approximately 40 per cent larger than the previous generation while consuming up to 50 per cent less energy.

Inside, the C 400 4MATIC electric gets the MBUX Superscreen as standard, combining a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 14-inch central touchscreen and 14-inch front-passenger display beneath one glass surface.

The latest Mercedes-Benz Operating System, or MB.OS, brings infotainment, navigation, charging, assistance and comfort functions into one system.

The fourth-generation MBUX system includes an AI-powered virtual assistant using technology from ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing and Google Gemini.

Navigation is based on Google Maps and works with Mercedes-Benz Navigation with Electric Intelligence, which can calculate charging stops and prepare the battery for DC charging.

The cabin also includes heated electrically adjustable front seats with memory and lumbar support, an AMG Line Sports Seat Package, a head-up display, Burmester 3D surround sound and Ambient Lighting Plus.

The SKY CONTROL panoramic roof is divided into nine electrically adjustable segments, allowing different sections to be dimmed separately.

Luggage capacity is rated at 470 litres at the rear, with a 101-litre front boot also included.

Driver-assistance equipment includes Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist Plus, lane-keeping function, speed-limit warnings, Traffic Sign Assist, Brake Assist, evasive steering assistance and exit warnings.

Parking technology includes PARKTRONIC sensors, automated parking assistance and a 360-degree camera system.

Two option packages are available at launch.

The Agility and Comfort Package adds AIRMATIC air suspension with intelligent suspension control and rear-axle steering up to 4.5 degrees.

The Luxury Package adds climatised front seats, heated rear seats, an illuminated star pattern for the panoramic roof and the 99.3cm MBUX Hyperscreen.
