2024 All-New Mitsubishi Triton Price and Specs

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) has announced the upcoming release of the New-Gen Triton Light Commercial Vehicle, scheduled for Australian showrooms in February 2024. The line-up begins with the 4x2 GLX Dual Cab Pick-Up, priced from $43,690 RRP, and extends to the 4x4 GSR Dual Cab Pick-Up Auto, available from $63,840 RRP.

The New-Gen Triton features a 2.4-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine, delivering 150kW of power and 470Nm of torque.

This engine is designed to provide efficiency at low revolutions per minute (RPM), catering to load-carrying needs. Fuel economy and CO2 emissions are listed in line with ADR 81/02 standards. The vehicle will be offered with a six-speed automatic transmission, and a six-speed manual transmission will be available in select models after the launch.

The vehicle range includes various models such as Double Cab and Club Cab Pickup variants. The future addition of Cab-Chassis variants is planned. Safety features across the range include Front Cross Traffic Alert and a Driver Monitoring System, along with other active and passive safety technologies.

The entry-level Triton GLX is equipped with features such as Forward Collision Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, and various airbag systems including a centre airbag. The vehicle also includes Automatic Air Conditioning, a 7-inch LCD MID Meter Cluster, and a 9-inch audio display compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Higher-spec models like the Triton GLS and GSR offer additional features. For instance, the GLS includes a Super Select 4WD II system and dual-zone auto air conditioning, while the GSR model comes with unique styling elements and interior features.

The New-Gen Triton's dimensions have been increased to enhance cabin space and load capacity, with a 3,500kg braked tow rating.

Mitsubishi is offering a 10/10 Diamond Advantage warranty and capped price servicing program for the New-Gen Triton. This includes a 10-year warranty and a 10-year capped price servicing program, with details to be confirmed closer to the launch date.
