Nissan Australia has confirmed local pricing and key specifications for the all-new Y63 Patrol, with orders now open ahead of first customer deliveries in early 2027.

The new-generation 4x4 SUV will launch with a six-grade range starting from $98,990 MSRP before on-road costs for the Ti and rising to $145,990 MSRP before on-road costs for the Ti-L Reserve.

That places the entry Y63 Patrol $2450 above the outgoing Y62 Patrol, while bringing a new platform, new powertrain, higher towing capacity and broader technology list.

The Patrol line-up comprises Ti, Ti+, Ti-L, Ti-L+, PRO-4X and Ti-L Reserve grades.

The PRO-4X badge will be offered on a Patrol in Australia for the first time, positioned as the more off-road-focused variant with adaptive air suspension, all-terrain tyres, a unique front bumper fascia and specific exterior detailing.

Every 2027 Nissan Patrol uses a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol V6 from Nissan's VR engine family, producing 317kW and 700Nm.

It is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4WD with low range, an electronic locking rear differential and eight drive and terrain modes.

Outputs are up 19kW and 140Nm compared with the outgoing Patrol, while maximum braked towing capacity increases to 3700kg when fitted with a genuine Nissan towbar.

The closest direct rival in established local showrooms is the 2026 Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series, which starts from $99,340 before on-road costs and reaches $156,810 before on-road costs in Performance Hybrid Sahara ZX form.

Nissan says the new Patrol is built on a ladder-frame chassis with 40 per cent greater torsional rigidity than its predecessor, with multi-link independent suspension and electric power steering.

Ti-L and Ti-L+ variants add Intelligent Dynamic Damping e-Damper suspension, while PRO-4X and Ti-L Reserve add adaptive air suspension with e-Damper control.

The air suspension can raise the vehicle off-road to improve approach, breakover and departure angles, lower in Park for entry, exit and loading, and lower automatically above 90km/h before raising again below 70km/h.

Inside, the new Patrol introduces Nissan's widescreen Monolith display, with dual 12.3-inch screens on Ti and Ti+ and dual 14.3-inch screens from Ti-L upwards.

It is also the first Nissan in Australia to offer Google built-in and Google Gemini AI+, integrated with NissanConnect connected car services.

NissanConnect connected car services are included with a complimentary two-year subscription, with an annual fee applying after that period if owners choose to continue the service.

The Y63 Patrol was already confirmed for an early 2027 local launch after Nissan outlined that orders would open this month.

Steve Milette, Managing Director, Nissan Oceania, said the new Patrol range was designed to broaden the model's appeal in Australia.

"The all-new Patrol gives Australian customers more choice than ever before, with a range that spans family comfort, genuine off-road capability and new levels of refinement," Mr Milette said.

"From the Ti through to the Ti-L Reserve, and with the PRO-4X bringing a new level of off-road capability to the Patrol range, every grade delivers more power, technology, comfort and capability."

The Patrol is covered by Nissan's service-activated Nissan MORE warranty of up to 10 years or 300,000km when serviced at authorised Nissan dealers.

Roadside assistance is also available for up to 10 years or 300,000km under the same servicing condition.

Service intervals are set at 12 months or 15,000km, with flat-price servicing listed at $499 per service for the first five years.

A more detailed grade-by-grade equipment breakdown is due later in 2026, before the first Australian customer deliveries begin in early 2027.
