New Zealand will have seven XPENG locations.

The expansion follows the formal conclusion of XPENG's distributor arrangement and comes ahead of the XPENG L03 mid-sized coupe SUV and XPENG G9L premium large SUV joining the local line-up.

Both new models will be offered in Australia with a choice of electric and Kunpeng Super Electric REEV powertrains.

The XPENG L03 will be priced from A$41,900, with first customer deliveries anticipated before the end of 2026.

XPENG G9L

Pricing and specifications for the XPENG G9L will be confirmed before the end of 2026, ahead of an anticipated showroom arrival early in 2027.

CarSauce has previously covered the G9L large SUV and its electric and range-extender options.

The L03 and G9L will join the XPENG G6 mid-sized SUV, priced from A$51,800, and the XPENG X9 luxury people mover, priced from A$89,900.

Manufacturer list prices include GST but exclude Government charges, delivery fees and other on-road costs.

Warranty and TrueEV customer support

XPENG ANZ has also outlined a support process for customers who bought vehicles through TrueEV and received documented promotional commitments at the time of purchase.

Those commitments include $5000 cashback campaign offers, 10-year warranty campaign offers, complimentary scheduled maintenance campaign offers and other promotional or campaign offers.

Each case will be reviewed individually, with XPENG ANZ arranging the applicable cashback payment, warranty activation, service booking or other agreed outcome once the relevant commitment has been confirmed.

Customers need to email auscustomercare@xiaopeng.com with their name, vehicle details including a VIN if available, proof of purchase and documentation showing the commitment made to them.

XPENG ANZ says its Australian-based customer support team has processed more than 1400 customer enquiries and resolved 250 cases related to promotional offers from the previous distributor.

Shaun Anthony, National After Sales Manager at XPENG ANZ, said: "XPENG ANZ promised certainty for all XPENG owners in Australia and New Zealand, and that is what our customer service team is delivering."

Anthony said: "We're proud of the work we've done to support existing buyers and the growing fleet of new XPENG owners, but we're only just getting started."

Anthony said: "Our local customer service team is ready to handle any remaining promotional offers, and to support XPENG's growth in Australia and New Zealand."

The latest update follows XPENG ANZ taking over direct support for affected owners, after CarSauce previously covered the brand's TrueEV customer support process.

XPENG G6

XPENG ANZ's manufacturer-backed seven-year warranty program covers eligible vehicles sold from 1 June 2026.

The same program has been extended to eligible vehicles purchased through TrueEV or its authorised dealers, on the same terms and subject to XPENG ANZ warranty documentation.

Private owners receive seven years of unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty coverage.

Commercial-use vehicles are covered for seven years or 160,000km, whichever comes first.

The traction battery, Battery Management System, drive motor and Intelligent Power Unit are covered for eight years or 160,000km.

Paint coverage runs for five years with unlimited kilometres, while anti-corrosion and anti-rust coverage runs for seven years with unlimited kilometres.

Separately purchased extended warranty products offered by third-party providers, retailers or other entities remain subject to the terms of those respective agreements.

XPENG X9

XPENG ANZ's genuine parts warehouse has been operating from a Melbourne facility since June.

The operation covers national parts inventory, workshop support, customer support and dealer technical assistance for XPENG ANZ vehicles in Australia.

According to the brand, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne receive next-day parts delivery as standard.

Brisbane receives next-day delivery for urgent orders and two-day delivery for standard orders.

Technical support starts with factory-trained specialist dealers when a vehicle is on-site, followed by remote diagnostics using vehicle computer data and field technical staff attending dealerships where required.
