Hyundai has reduced 2027 Inster MLPs by $1500, simplifying the EV range to two variants priced from $37,500 before on-road costs.
Hyundai Australia has streamlined the 2027 Inster range, cutting Manufacturer’s List Pricing by $1500 across the remaining electric city-car line-up.
The updated range starts at $37,500 before dealer delivery and on-road costs for the Inster Standard Range, with the Inster Cross now priced from $43,500 before those charges.

The changes apply to vehicles produced from July 2026, which have started arriving in Australia.
The MY27 range has been reduced to two variants: the 42kWh Standard Range and the 49kWh Cross.
The previous Inster Extended Range and Inster Cross with Basket have been discontinued.
The 2027 Inster equipment list also drops the heat pump, interior V2L connection and portable emergency charging cable.
The Standard Range uses a 71kW 2WD electric powertrain with a 42.0kWh battery and a listed 327km range.
The Cross steps up to an 84kW 2WD powertrain, a 49.0kWh battery and a listed 360km range.

All prices below are Manufacturer’s List Price and exclude dealer delivery and on-road costs, so they are not driveaway prices.
The Standard Range falls from $39,000 to $37,500 MLP.
The Cross falls from $45,000 to $43,500 MLP.
The previous $39,000 Extended Range and $45,000 Cross with Basket have been discontinued.
