All-New Nissan Patrol Production Starts Ahead of 2027 Australia Deliveries
Nissan has started production of the all-new Patrol for Australia in Japan, with first deliveries due in Q1 2027 and 3700kg towing.
Production of the all-new Nissan Patrol has started in Japan, with the first right-hand-drive vehicles destined for Australia now rolling off the line.
The new Patrol is being built at the Nissan Shatai Kyushu plant in Kyushu, which continues to assemble Patrol vehicles for Australia and other global markets.

First Australian customer deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
Nissan says the all-new Patrol uses a new ladder-frame chassis with substantially larger frame side members than the outgoing Y62 Patrol.
The new frame brings a 40 per cent increase in torsional rigidity and is designed to support improvements in noise, vibration and harshness, handling and ride comfort.
The chassis also supports a maximum braked towing capacity of 3700kg, based on the fitment of a Genuine Nissan towbar.
Actual towing capacity depends on vehicle load, driving conditions, accessories and towing equipment limits, including maximum towball download.
The body structure also uses more high-strength steel than before, with the material now making up 27 per cent of the total body structure.
That represents a 21 percentage point increase over the outgoing Y62 Patrol.
Nissan says the increased use of high-strength steel supports durability and occupant protection while helping optimise overall vehicle weight.
The same factory also produces INFINITI’s QX80 SUV and Nissan’s recently launched Elgrand premium minivan.
The all-new Patrol is not yet available for purchase, and final Australian production details may differ from pre-production vehicles.
With production now underway, the next major step for the all-new Patrol will be its Australian market launch ahead of customer handovers in early 2027.
