Hyundai Australia has confirmed pricing for the limited-run i30 Sedan N MONOCHROME, with the performance sedan priced from $60,500 before on-road costs.

The MONOCHROME will arrive in Australian showrooms from November 2026, with Hyundai limiting the local allocation to 200 units.

The $60,500 Manufacturer’s List Price applies to both the manual and DCT versions, placing the MONOCHROME $5,000 above the i30 Sedan N Premium with Sunroof.

Hyundai says the Australian allocation will include a mix of manual and DCT transmissions.

Two exterior colours will be offered: Abyss Black Pearl and Performance Blue.

Abyss Black attracts a $595 premium paint charge.

The MONOCHROME uses a restrained visual treatment across the exterior and interior, including body-colour details, newly designed forged wheels, revised bumper and sill detailing, carbon-fibre mirror caps and a carbon-fibre rear spoiler.

Inside, it adds a MONOCHROME-only Alcantara steering wheel with black-finished buttons, along with Alcantara on selected interior components.

"The i30 Sedan N MONOCHROME captures the essence of Hyundai N’s motorsport history and commitment to high-performance culture in a restrained package," said Joon Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group, Hyundai Motor Company.

"Having listened to customers’ voices for a toned-down high-performance model, we restrained visual emphases and focused on form, texture and material to create a monochromatic rendition of the i30 Sedan N that is understated, yet undeniably N," Park said.

The model is planned for Korea, Canada and Australia, with Korea due to go on sale in late October 2026.

In the compact performance-car space, the 2026 Toyota GR Corolla GTS remains a relevant rival, using a 1.6-litre turbo three-cylinder engine with 221kW and 400Nm, all-wheel drive, and manual or automatic transmissions.
